Hola a todos, espero esten teniendo un verano bonito. Y para aquellos que me leen en paises que no tienen realmente estaciones espero también que estes teniendo un Julio bonito.
Aqui en California, la energia se transforma cada verano, hay mas actividades de lo normal. Las personas desean estar afuéra y disfrutar del sol. Estos meses hemos hecho de todo, y mi mas más importante meta ha sido nadar, pero que digo, nadar de verdad y nadar sin miedo. En mi idealización del oceano, veia a millones de personas surfeando cada vez que salia, incluyendo a mi esposo. Y cuando sali este verano con la ilusión de hacerlo me di cuenta que de verdad le tengo miedo a las olas, al oceano y a su fuerza.
Bueno más alla de mi update de verano y mis miedos al oceano, quiero compartir cosas que han pasado estos ultimos meses.
/ Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice summer. And for those of you who read me in countries that don’t really have seasons, I hope you are also having a nice July. Here in California, the energy transforms every summer, there are more activities than usual. People want to be outside and enjoy the sun. These months we have done everything, and my most important has been swimming, but what do I say, really swimming and swimming without fear. In my idealization of the ocean, I saw millions of people surfing every time I went out, including my husband. And when I went out this summer with the illusion of doing it I realized that I really am afraid of the waves, the ocean and its strength.
Well beyond my summer update and my fears of the ocean, I want to share things that have happened these last few months.
Hace poco hice parte de la primera conferencia creativa de The Forge en Garden Church. Y me comisionaron a hacer una instalación/cartel el cual las personas iban a interactuando con esta. El concepto del encargo era “Remember the soil (Recuerda el suelo)”
Un proyecto que me gusto mucho porque pude jugar con el proyector y pintar a mano el cartel. Un sueño que tengo

/I was recently part of The Forge’s first creative conference in Garden Church. And I was commissioned to make an installation/poster that people were going to interact with. The concept of the commission was “Remember the soil”.
A project that I really enjoyed because I was able to play with the projector and hand paint the poster. A dream I have

He estado cosiendo mucho y recientemente realice estos shorts y una canguro para el cumpleaños de una amiga.
Tengo como olas donde me animo a coser más y más y creo que se debe al verano y a poder visualizar prendas que me gustaría usar. Y puedes ver ahora en mi Patreon un video que subí sobre los patrones que he usado y que usaría, también incluyo en ese episodio accesorios y algunas prendas que los hombres también podrían usar.
/I have been sewing a lot and recently made these shorts and a fanny pack for a friend’s birthday.
I have like waves where I’m encouraged to sew more and more and I think it’s because of the summer and being able to visualize garments that I would like to wear. And you can see now on my Patreon a video I uploaded about the patterns I have used and would use, I also include in that episode accessories and some garments that men could also use.
