Hola a todos
En octubre, pudimos ir a Portland en nuestro viaje de aniversario con mi esposo, (tres años) pueden creerlo.
Estuvimos aproximadamente cuatro dias, dos en portland y otros dos recorriendo la costa de Oregon. Siempre habia querido ir a Portland, hay algunos artistas que viven allá y siempre me ha parecido un lugar muy interesante para visitar.
Si algunos no lo saben el slogan de la ciudad es “Mantengamos a portland diferente/raro” así que desde el comienzo la experienca comienza esperando algo inesperado.
El primer día
Volamos muy temprano desde Los Angeles hasta Porland y tan pronto llegamos, fuimos Never Lab Coffee. Luego fuimos caminando a Powls Bookstore en el districto donde pasamos masomenos hora y media.
El segundo día
Este día fue de mis favoritos. Comenzamos desayunando en esta pasteleria/ Cafe llamada Never Coffee (Muy buen cafe pero un poco pequeño el espacio) y luego paramos en Powels bookstore, una libreria inmensa, con varios pisos y diferentes secciones. La sección de niños me dejo con la boca abierta. Pasamos casi dos horas aquí y yo me quería llevar todo literalmente todo.
Estos fueron los libros que encontramos
Luego nos fuimos caminando hasta el Farmers Market at PSU y en el camino paramos en otro cafesito en medio la acera.
El mercado nos encanto, ver a las personas que exponen sus productos locales es muy emocionante y la comida que encontramos fue deliciosa. Todo el mundo comparte en el parque y se sientan a pasar el tiempo.
En la tarde, desde el mercado fuimos hasta el jardin de rosas caminando, fueron 40 minutos cargando libros y chaquetas hahahha pero nos encanto sentir la ciudad a través de sus barrios, calles y pequeñas tiendas.
Los ultimos dos días fuimos a la costas, visitamos pequeños pueblos de Oregon como Manzanita, Cannon Beach and Tillamook. Pudimos ver atardeceres hermosos, sentir la naturaleza de otro mundo y manejar a través de la neblina.

Hi everyone
In October, we were able to go to Portland on our anniversary trip with my husband (three years) can you believe it?
We were there for about four days, two in Portland and two days touring the Oregon coast. I had always wanted to go to Portland, there are some artists who live there and it has always seemed like a very interesting place to visit.
If some of you don’t know, the city’s slogan is “Keep Portland Different/Weird” so from the beginning the experience begins with expecting something unexpected.
The first day
We flew very early from Los Angeles to Portland and as soon as we arrived, we went to Never Lab Coffee. Then we walked to Powls Bookstore in the district where we spent about an hour and a half.
The second day
This day was one of my favorites. We started by having breakfast at this bookstore, and then we stopped at Powell’s bookstore, but in a different location. It was huge, several floors and various sections. The children’s section left me speechless. We spent almost two hours here, and I wanted to take literally everything with me.
Then we walked to the Farmers Market at PSU, and on the way we stopped at another little cafe in the middle of the sidewalk.
We loved the market, seeing people displaying their local products is very exciting, and the food we found was delicious. Everyone shares in the park and sits down to pass the time.
In the afternoon, from the market we walked to the rose garden, it was 40 minutes carrying books and jackets hahahha but we loved feeling the city through its neighborhoods, streets, and small shops.
The last two days, we went to the coast, and we visited small towns in Oregon like Manzanita, Cannon Beach, and Tillamook. We were able to see beautiful sunsets, feel the nature of another world, and drive through the fog.
