Hello everyone. Christmas is finally here!
I had the pleasure to illustrate this December issue of Oh Reader, and I would love to share with you some of my process of doing my first magazine cover.
The process was a little challenging because the editor wanted: a night scene with some snow, and some lights on a bookstore window.
At first I thought “How?” “I never have done something like that”…..But I needed to trust my process.
I started to collect some references and make my moodboard. Also I started analizing artist and people work, specially night scenes.

After creating my moodboar, I started skeching.
And then I did a digital color guide, just to make it easy for the final.
When it was approved, I started painting.
