Last month I participated in the illustration contest for the image of the 17th ‘Festival de libros para Niños y Jóvenes 2023’ organized by La Camara del Libro de Bogota. Although my poster was not chosen, I had an honorable mention among the participants.
Making this poster was completely liberating. I was able to put into practice many of the techniques that I like the most and it reminded me why I love to illustrate and experiment.
I want to share about my process making this poster. I recorded a few clips while I was making it. I know they are not a lot and I need to remind myself to record more in the process ahahaha. But hope you can see a glimpse of my behind the scenes.
